Just had our offer on a Catalina 38 accepted. The boat is REALLY in good shape. The only drawback is she lies in San Diego. My hope is to go down to close the deal, then sail her back up here inorder to load up the family and head south again. It sunds like a crazy plan, but I know that beating up the coast, while miserable, will BREAK anything on the boat that might want to, so we can deal w/ it sooner rather than later. I will also be 100 times more comfortable sailing the boat after such a trip, and therefore happier to put the family on board.
So, without further ado.....our tiny little home for the forseeable future......JACE (a weird combination of Jack and Chase....my nephew's....oddly enough).
